BRO Recruitment 2025 – Vacancy Details
This recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 542 posts, categorized as follows:
- Vehicle Mechanic – 324 Posts

Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for each post is different and based on educational qualifications and trade certificates:
Vehicle Mechanic:
- Must have passed 10th class from a recognized board.
- Should hold a valid Trade Certificate in Motor Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic / Heat Engine.
MSW (Painter):
- Must be 10th pass.
- Must hold an ITI certificate in the Painter trade.
MSW (DES):
- Must be 10th pass.
- Should have a Trade Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle or Tractor Mechanic.
- Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) as per government norms. Applicants are advised to check the detailed notification for post-wise age limits.
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹50
- SC/ST/PwD: No Fee
- Payment should be made through a crossed Bank Draft as per instructions in the official notification.
Selection Process
BRO’s recruitment process includes multiple stages. Selection will be based on merit and performance in the following:
- Written Examination
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Practical / Trade Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Only those who clear all stages will be considered for final selection.
