MPPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria 2026 Educational Qualification To apply for MPPSC Assistant Professor posts, candidates must fulfill the following requirements: A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized university Must have cleared UGC/CSIR NET, SET, or SLET Candidates with a Ph.D. degree are exempted from NET/SET/SLET, as per UGC rules All qualifications must be obtained from a recognized institution. Age Limit Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 40 years Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per MP government rules. MPPSC Assistant Professor Application Fee The application fee varies according to category: General / Outside MP Candidates: ₹500 + ₹40 portal charge SC / ST / OBC / EWS (MP Residents): ₹250 + ₹40 portal charge Candidates must pay the fee online within the specified time to complete the application process successfully. MPPSC Assistant Professor Salary 2026 Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary as per the 7th Pay Commission: Pay Scale: ₹57,700 per month Pay Matrix Level: Level 10 In addition to basic pay, candidates will be entitled to allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Travel Allowance (TA) as per government rules.
