Smartphone brand Poco is preparing to launch its upcoming smartphone, the Poco C85x 5G, in the Indian market. The device is expected to arrive as the successor to a model launched in December last year.
According to reports, the smartphone could officially launch in India on March 10, 2026. After the launch, the device will likely be available for purchase through Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite for the phone has already gone live.
Stylish Design with Dual-Tone Rear Panel
In terms of design, the Poco C85x 5G is expected to feature a stylish dual-tone rear panel, giving the smartphone a more premium look. The device may include a pill-shaped camera island on the back that houses the dual rear camera setup and an LED flash.
The power button and volume controls are placed on the right side of the device, while the Poco branding appears on the lower left corner of the back panel.
Dimensity 6300 Processor and 120Hz Display
The Poco C85x 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with the Mali‑G57 MC2 GPU. The smartphone will reportedly run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.2, offering a smooth and updated software experience.
For display, the device may feature a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 810 nits peak brightness. This combination should deliver a smooth and vibrant viewing experience for gaming, streaming, and everyday use.
Large Battery with Fast Charging Support
The Poco C85x 5G is also expected to come with a high-capacity battery. The previous model offered a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 10W reverse charging support.
The upcoming smartphone may include a similar or even larger battery, ensuring long battery backup for heavy users. However, the company has not officially confirmed the battery specifications yet.
Camera Setup
In the camera department, the Poco C85x 5G is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera as part of its dual rear camera system.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphone may include an 8-megapixel front camera. This camera setup is expected to deliver decent photography performance for everyday users.
Connectivity, Security, and Variants
The smartphone will likely support multiple connectivity features including:
