On December 29, Poco shared a new teaser on social media platform X, highlighting the slim profile of the Poco M8 5G. According to the teaser, the smartphone will have a thickness of 7.35mm and weigh 178 grams. Poco claims it to be the thinnest and lightest phone in its segment, although the company hasn’t specified which price segment this refers to.
Sporty and Unique Rear Design
The teaser also reveals the distinctive rear panel design of the Poco M8 5G. The back panel features racing-inspired stripes along both edges, giving the phone a dynamic and sporty look. The device will reportedly come in a black dual-tone finish, making it visually striking.
While the rear design may remind some users of the upcoming Redmi Note 15 5G, launching on January 6, Poco M8 5G maintains its unique design identity.
Square Camera Module
The Poco M8 5G features a centered square camera module on the rear. The module has slightly rounded corners for a balanced look and appears to slightly protrude.
