Realme is once again ready to shake up the smartphone market with the launch of its upcoming flagship device, the Realme Neo 8. According to recent reports, the smartphone is expected to make its official debut later this week, and ahead of the launch, it has already been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing key performance details.
Realme Neo 8 Spotted on Geekbench With Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
The Realme Neo 8 has appeared on Geekbench with the model number RMX8899. The listing suggests that the smartphone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is considered Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful chipset to date.
As per Geekbench data, the device scored 2,876 points in the single-core test and 9,244 points in the multi-core test, indicating flagship-level performance. These scores strongly suggest that the Realme Neo 8 will be a solid contender in the premium smartphone segment, especially for gaming and heavy multitasking.
Android 16 and Up to 16GB RAM Support
Reports also indicate that the Realme Neo 8 may run on Android 16, making it one of the first smartphones to ship with the latest Android version. In addition, the device is expected to support up to 16GB of RAM, ensuring a smooth and lag-free user experience.
