India’s largest public sector bank, State Bank of India, has announced a new recruitment drive under SBI Recruitment 2026. The bank is inviting applications for Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) positions across multiple departments.
According to the official notification, the recruitment aims to fill 116 vacancies for roles such as Assistant Vice President (IS Audit), Deputy Manager (IS Audit), and Deputy Manager (Chartered Accountant – Internal Audit).

Total Vacancies and Salary Details
Under SBI Specialist Cadre Officers Recruitment 2026, a total of 116 posts have been announced. The vacancies include:
- Assistant Vice President (IS Audit)
- Deputy Manager (IS Audit)
- Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit)
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) position is offered on a contractual basis, with a salary package of up to ₹50 lakh CTC per year depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

For regular positions like Deputy Manager (IS Audit) and Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit), the salary ranges from ₹64,820 to ₹93,960 per month, along with additional benefits as per bank rules.
Age Limit for SBI SCO Recruitment 2026
The age criteria for different posts are as follows:
- Assistant Vice President (IS Audit): 27 – 45 years
- Deputy Manager (IS Audit): 25 – 35 years
- Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit): 21 – 35 years
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories will receive age relaxation according to government norms.
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for these positions must meet specific educational requirements.
- For AVP (IS Audit) and Deputy Manager (IS Audit) posts, applicants must have a degree in CS, IT, Electronics, Software Engineering, or MCA.
- For Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit), candidates must be a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Applicants with relevant experience in IT and auditing will have a better chance of selection. Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, and CISM may also give candidates an additional advantage during the selection process.
Selection Process
