Vida Launches Dirt.E K3: Vida, Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand, has officially entered the youth electric motorcycle segment with the launch of the Dirt.E K3, a size-adaptive electric off-road bike designed for children aged 4 to 10 years. Priced at Rs 69,990 for the first 300 units, the Dirt.E K3 stands out with its adjustable frame that grows along with the child.
Size-Adjustable Design That Grows with the Rider
The Vida Dirt.E K3 is the first model under the brand’s new off-road sub-brand, Dirt.E. Its key highlight is a three-stage adjustable frame that can be set to small, medium, or large using a single tool. This innovative design ensures consistent ergonomics over several years, reducing the need for frequent upgrades as children grow.
According to Vida, this approach helps young riders build essential riding skills early while addressing parental concerns about kids quickly outgrowing their motorcycles.
Electric Motor, Battery and Performance
Powering the Dirt.E K3 is a 350W continuous motor with 500W peak output, paired with a 360Wh removable battery. The battery can be charged at home and delivers up to three hours of riding time, with a full charge taking approximately three hours.
The electric off-roader comes with three riding modes to suit different skill levels:
- Beginner: 8 kmph
- Amateur: 16 kmph
- Pro: 25 kmph
Parents can manage speed limits and lock riding modes using the VIDA mobile app, offering greater control and safety.
Safety-Focused Hardware and Features
The Dirt.E K3 rides on 16-inch spoked wheels and features a rear hydraulic disc brake, designed to reduce front-wheel washouts. Off-road-friendly ergonomics ensure better stability and comfort for young riders.

- Kid-friendly brake lever
- Sealed battery enclosure
- Magnetic lanyard kill switch that cuts power if the rider falls
Development, Awards and Availability
The electric motorcycle was jointly developed at Hero’s Tech Centre Germany and the Centre for Innovation and Technology, Jaipur, with production scheduled at the company’s Tirupati EV manufacturing facility.
The Dirt.E K3 has already received global recognition, winning the Red Dot Design Award 2025 and earning a CES Innovation Award 2026 Honoree mention.
Launch Date, Cities and Colours
Retail sales of the Vida Dirt.E K3 will begin on January 15, 2026, across select dealerships in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur and Calicut. The bike will be available in Red, Purple and White colour options
